2nd Environmental Conference representatives: UNO-R and USJ-R
Ten delegates from University of Negros Occidental- Recoletos attended the 2nd Environmental Stewardship Conference with the Theme: “Kindling the Heart, Empowering the Mind for Environmental Stewardship.” This seminar was sponsored by the University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJ-R) which was held last March 9-10, 2011 at the USJ-R Basak Campus, Cebu City.
Celene Faith Algara: Valedictorian
The University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos High School Department had its graduation last March 24, 2011 at the UNO-R Gymnasium at 6 p.m. A Thanksgiving Mass was offered at the University Oratory at 4:00 pm.
Celene Faith Algara led batch 2011 as Class Valedictorian. Thea Marie Asesor is the Class Salutatorian. Diane Marie Chin, Geselle Ortega and Ninfa Corazon Grajo graduated with honors.
The UNO-R Grade School Department held its graduation last March 25, 2011 at 4:00 PM at the University Gymnasium. A thanksgiving mass was offered at the Oratory of St. Nicholas of Tolentino at 3:00 PM. The 137 graduates of Batch 2011 were led by Charlene Grace Gelotin as the class first honors while Cyan Nichole Alejano was the class second honors. Anika Mae Fierro, Lindsy Marie Villanueva, Kate Erika Ricarse, Kit Homer Taniongon, Halle Berry Jagocoy, Crystzyl Buada, Maria Angela Tañoso and Aldwin John Hablo graduated with honors while Roland Emil Chavez, Josheil Villanueva, John Pierre Jarmonilla, Jess Ann Marie Zamora, Andrea Decena, Alexis Joan Arroyo, Jela Espinosa, Lourdes Angeline Sendico, Lyka De la Torre, Adrianne Christopher Salugsugan, Camille Mondejar, Erika Kate Escaro, Carmen Jesusa Legaspi, Aianna Claire Abellana, Roecel Christen Taniñas, Angelic Mohler, Areen Mae Reyes, Jhellie Anne Ocampo, Divine Anas and Melissa Angela Terry were recognized for their academic proficiency.
