FR. CELIZ IS THE NEW PRESIDENT

Rev. Fr. Eduardo Celiz, OAR is the 16^th Recoletos President of the University of Negros Occidental –Recoletos. Protocol No. 0113/15 issued by the Prior Provincial of the OAR Province of St. Ezekiel Moreno appoints the new Religious administrators of the university.  Rev. Fr. Enrico Peter Silab, OAR is the Vice President for Administration; Rev. Fr. Albert Pellazar, OAR is the Vice-President for Academics; Rev. Fr. William Emelito Villaflor, OAR – Vice President for Finance; Rev. Fr. Louie Gabinete, OAR – VP – Student Welfare and Rev. Fr. Abraham Latoza, OAR – VP – Religious Affairs.

Fr. President comes from the town of San Miguel, Iloilo. He finished his basic education from San Miguel Elementary School and his secondary education from Colegio de Santo Tomas –Recoletos, San Carlos City. He obtained his degree of  Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Seminario Mayor – Recoletos, Baguio.  He has a Master of Arts degree in Theology from Recoletos School of Theology, Quezon.  He also holds a Master’s degree in Management major in Business Management (MMBM)  from University of San Jose –Recoletos, Cebu and is a graduate of the Master in Development Management (MDM) program of the Asian Institute of Management, Makati City.  His religious assignments include:  Chaplain, Property Admin, and VP-Finance at USJ-R, Cebu; VP- Finance of San Sebastian College -Recoletos, Manila;  Parish Priest of San Nicholas de Tolentino parish, Talisay City; and VP-Finance, Basic Education Coordinator, High School Principal of UNO-Recoletos, Bacolod.  He also availed of the Revitalization program of the Order in Spain.  He was also assigned to chair the administration panel in the UNO-R Labor –Management Conference and was also a member of the Admin panel in the UNO-R – UNOFELA Collective Bargaining Agreement.
