SARF Convention 2014

The Secular Augustinian Recollect Fraternity – Visayas will be having their annual convention on October 25-26 hosted by the SARF-Talisay Chapter. The convention theme is “SARF: Catalyst in the Empowerment of the Laity , the Recoletos Way”. The main speaker for the theme is the San Nicholas de Tolentino  Spiritual Director, Rev.  Fr. Jose Ernil S. Almayo , OAR .   The event will be attended by SARF communities from Colegio de Santo Tomas- Recoletos (San Carlos); Our Lady of the Abandoned Church Parish (Valencia ), Our Lady of Consolacion Parish (Laray), Our Lady of Mount Carmel (Cebu)  , UNO-R and  San Nicholas de Tolentino Parish (Talisay).   “ SARF is more than an association but it is a way of life” that is how Mrs. Arabella Ananoria, former SARF President-UNO-R Chapter, described the organization. Every year the convention provides way of renewing camaraderie among members and deepening of the members’ spirituality. This year, UNO-R’s Mr. Fritz Palma & Mr. Mariano Antenor will take the Rites of Admittance as new members of the fraternity during the Eucharistic Celebration on the second day of the convention.
