GUIDANCE SERVICES
INDIVIDUAL INVENTORY SERVICES
- INDIVIDUAL INVENTORY SERVICE -designed to gather all reliable data, information, and records, in order to assemble and compile these materials for their functional use.
- Student Profiling in the form of surveys is conducted to students in order to come up with a valid Information regarding a particular concern for student records and to provide intervention tailored to student’s needs.
- Testing is conducted for students to help them understand themselves better and a way to gather relevant information in making psychological report.
INFORMATION SERVICE
- INFORMATION SERVICE -designed to make available to clients’ certain kinds of information not ordinarily provided through instructional program to guide them in making intelligent vocational /educational choice as well as in adjusting to personal/social situations.
- Seminars regarding study habits, gender sensitivity, personality development, wellness, and job search are facilitated for students’ development.
- Awareness Campaign is an advocacy-related activity that promotes national and international awareness on specific social, psychological, environmental, moral and spiritual issues.
- Guidance classes are conducted to Freshmen, Transferees, and Graduating students to provide sense of belonging to the UNO-R community and proper guidance for future career.
COUNSELING SERVICES
- COUNSELING SERVICE -designed to help students cope with life and life’s difficulties by dealing with their specific concerns and planning strategies to address them.
- Online Psychosocial support is established in response to clients seeking counseling on a virtual platform and client seeking inquiries
- Individual counseling is a one-on-one counseling session focused on a student’s specific concerns and goals.
- Group counseling is conducted with a group of students who share similar concerns, focusing on guided interaction to provide support, build understanding, and encourage shared learning.
PLACEMENT SERVICES
- PLACEMENT SERVICE -designed to assist learners in finding their right placement in academic groups, co-curricular organizations, career, and job.
- Job Placement Support is conducted online and through bulletin display by the placement service for the graduating students to find part-time and full-time jobs.
- Job Quest is conducted to provide graduating students with opportunities and hands-on experience in job hunting.
- Exit Interview is conducted for graduating students and those planning to transfer to a different school.
FOLLOW-UP SERVICES
- FOLLOW-UP SERVICES – concerned with what happens to clients while in school or after they have left school.
- Special Population refers to a group of students identified as having special needs and who are provided with appropriate interventions.
- Academic Probation applies to students who are unable to meet the required retention policy percentage for their semestral units, as stated in the Student Manual.
- Follow-Through Sessions are provided to students who require follow-up support, including continued assistance for alumni and RBGS students.
