High School Senior Rizza Mariz Cenabre and Junior Antonielle Kaye Berduque will leave March 17 for the United States under the U.S. Department of states “Basketball Visitors Program”. They will join eight other boy s and girls standout from the 2014 Batang Pinoy National Finals Basketball Tournaments, as well as six young athletes from typhoon stricken areas in Leyte. The two-week all-expense paid trip is a joint venture of the States Department’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs and The Philippine Sports Commission. Cenabre and Berduque are members of the school’s girls basketball Varsity which won sixth straight NOPSSCEA Championship this year. (Mr. Ericson Rios)
