Bishop Vicente Navarra, DD, Bishop of Bacolod, administered the Sacrament of Confirmation to seventy-eight UNO-R High School students of the University last February 20 at the Oratory of St. Nicolas de Tolentino. The Bishop was joined by Rev. Fr. William Villaflor, OAR; University President Rev. Fr. Eduardo Celiz, OAR; and Chaplain Rev. Fr. Persiuz Decena, OAR. The Bishop was joined by the two deacons of the Diocese. In the homily of the Bishop, he reminded the candidates to be firm in their faith and to be real evangelizers of the faith in this day and age. He added that the present generation lives with the “heresy of secularism”. He reminded them to have strong faith in God and not on the material evils of this world.
