The University community will celebrate one of the traditions of the Catholic Church – the Blessing of the Advent Wreath at 5:30 pm at the University Lobby. According to Rev., Fr. Cornelio Moral, OAR, VP –Religious Affairs, this fruitful preparation through the season of Advent will give more meaning to our celebration of the birth of the Lord at Christmas. In his advent message, he reminds everyone not to lose the value of the advent season to gift-shopping and pre-Christmas parties. Rather, take advantage of the blessings of Advent and use them to be with Jesus.
Also, the lighting of the Campus Organizations’ Christmas tree will be held on the 5th of December at the Paseo Recoleto at 5:30 pm.
