ASSOCIATE MEMBER

The ASEAN University Network–Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) promotes excellence in higher education by harmonizing academic standards and advancing a culture of continuous quality improvement across ASEAN universities. Guided by the Bangkok Accord, AUN-QA supports the development and implementation of robust quality assurance systems that strengthen teaching, research, and institutional performance. Through collaborative evaluation and shared best practices, it empowers member institutions to achieve internationally recognized standards of academic excellence.

AUTONOMOUS STATUS

The University of Negros Occidental–Recoletos (UNO-R) was granted Autonomous Status by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) through CEB Resolution No. 073-2025, affirming its sustained commitment to academic excellence, institutional quality, and effective governance. This distinction recognizes the University’s strong performance in instruction, research, extension, and quality assurance, while providing greater flexibility to innovate and strengthen its academic programs. As an autonomous institution, UNO-R continues to advance its mission of forming competent, values-driven professionals equipped to make meaningful contributions to society.

CHEDRO XVIII REGIONAL QUALITY AWARDS

The CHED Regional Quality Awards recognize higher education institutions that demonstrate excellence in academic quality, innovation, governance, research, extension, and community engagement. Presented by the Commission on Higher Education Regional Office XVIII (CHEDRO XVIII), the awards celebrate institutions that uphold the highest standards of quality assurance and contribute significantly to regional and national development.This recognition reflects a sustained commitment to educational excellence, continuous improvement, and transformative service.
