The Commission on Higher Education conducted an evaluation and monitoring of Chemical Engineering program relative to CMO 37 s. 2012 otherwise known as “Policies, Standards and Guidelines on the establishment of an outcomes-based system in Higher Education institution offering Chemical Engineering programs.” The visit was held September 1, 2016. The monitoring team is composed of Engr. Cezar de la Cruz- team leader; Dr. Dahlia H Pescos and Engr. Ramelito Agapay – members. Observing the process was Mr. Gabino P.Petilos of CHEDRO VIII (Tacloban office). The areas being evaluated were: Instructional Quality; Research and Publication; Extension and linkages; and Institutional aspects. The evaluation and monitoring activity concluded with the presentation of the major findings and recommendations for the program to be viable for Center of Development (COD) and OBE compliant.
