University Chaplain and Director of the Campus Ministry Office, Fr. Jay M. Parilla, OAR attended the 16th Annual Conference of the Association of Southeast and East Asian Catholic Colleges and Universities (ASEACCU) held in Bandung, Indonesia last August 28 – 30, 2008 with the theme: “The Role of Catholic Higher Education in Promoting the Civilization of Love and Solidarity as Responses to Economic and Cultural Globalization.” The conference served as a venue for dialogue and discussion of issues and concerns related to Catholic Higher Education. It also provide opportunities for participants to share with each other good practices for promoting the civilization of love and solidarity and better intercultural awareness and understanding.
