The library celebrated the 81st National Book Week celebration from November 23 to December 02, 2015with the theme “The Filipino Reader in the Era of ASEAN Integration”. The highlights of all the events was awarding of Top Borrowers and IMC Users for S.Y. 2014-2015 and the library’s book mobile program visit to Dr. Trino Montinola Elementary School in Talisay City on November 24, 2015. Library and IMC staff donated 186 books as their initial collection and spent a joyous day with teachers and pupils through sharing the university’s resources by film showing, storytelling, and free reading of Fray Luis de Leon Book Mobile Program (DEAR) collection. Teacher In-Charge of the school, Mr. Arnaldo E. Hofilena, Jr. gladly thanked the University of Negros Occidental- Recoletos Library Book Mobile Program. (Mrs. Sheila dela Cruz)
