TALK ON FR. FERRERO ON AUGUST 27

On the feast of St. Monica, the pious mother of St. Augustine, August 27,  the 2^nd round of the lecture series on the Life and works of Padre Mauricio Ferrero, OAR, whose centennial death anniversary is celebrated, will be held at the President’s Hall at 8 am. A Conference of Padre Mauricio Ferrero, Recollect Builder of Bacolod City will have Prof. Emmanuel Luis Romanillos and Rev. Fr. Emilio Quilatan, OAR, HED.  Prof. Romanillos will talk about the life, ministry, and works of Padre Ferrero, OAR while Fr. Quilatan, will speak about the “Augustinian Recollects in Bacolod since 1871. The program will run from 8 – 12 noon.  Dr. Carlos Legaspi, Jr. will give the opening remarks while Prof. Modesto Sa-onoy will give the rationale of the affair.  After the talks, an open forum will follow.
