It coincided with the Birthday of the University President and the blessing of the new centers of the University. Dr. Ferraris was formerly assigned as director of the University Research, Planning and Development Office. |

Dr. Evangeline Aboyo, outgoing Dean of the College gave her accomplishment report and stressed that the success of her administration was based on the strong cooperation of each of the faculty of the college. She prays that the same cooperation should be afforded to the new dean. Dr. Ferraris accepted the task given to him with all humility.
Rev. Fr. Sixto Bitangjol, OAR, the Vice President for Administration and Director of Human Resource Department explained the rationale of the turn-over ceremony. He stressed that the authority given to any appointee of the University comes great responsibility.
Fr. President inspired everyone, specially the new appointees, to continue working for the University. He thanked everyone who has helped realized his dream of making benchmark developments in the University. He stressed that UNO-R is moving forward because of people who have worked for the common welfare of the University.
Rev. Fr. Raul Buhay, OAR, Vice President for Academics read the appointment of the new Dean, and as Chairman of the OAR Secretariat for the Educational Apostolate of the Philippines, he talked about the “sugarcane” charism of the Recollect schools. He reminded everyone of the importance of “dying” in order to grow more.
The activity ended with the community singing the “Blue and Gold” March.
