As part of its advocacy of reaching out to the deaf community in the city, UNO-R will sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the Welcome Home Foundation, Inc. (WHFI) on January 30, 2009 at 9:00 AM at the President’s Hall. Welcome Home Foundation, Inc. is an institution that specializes in the education of the deaf aiming at helping them live harmoniously with their families and with the hearing world. In the Memorandum of Understanding, UNO-R shall provide a Computer for the Hearing Impaired (CHI) Program to students of WHFI to be operated under the College of Information Technology. |
