UNO-RIANS OFF TO INDONESIA

Floyd Abrico and Shad dela Cruz

Engineering Junior and UNOSSGO Senate President John Floyd Abrico will represent the Philippines in the ASEAN Young Leaders Summit in Jakarta, Indonesia on December 5 – 9, 2012.  In a letter from the US Embassy, it states that the summit will bring together alumni of the Southeast Asian Youth Leadership Program from all ten ASEAN countries.   Abrico also went to Japan last year and to the US during his high school years to attend a similar summit.

Shad Roi dela Cruz, BS Computer Science Junior qualified as a successful nominee for final screening of the 15^th Ayala Young Leaders Congress (AYLC 2013).  He will have his final panel interviews on November 21 – 23  at the Ayala Corporation Headquarters in Makati City.  UNO-R AYLC alumni include Dianelle Rose Obando,2011 Social Work Board Examinations 2^nd placer Richelle Verdeprado and  Janna Mary Lagare.  Last year Masscom senior Daisy May Nonato was a successful nominee to the final screening of the 14^th AYLC.

Meanwhile,  UNOSSGO President Bobb Michael Bokingo,  Greenheart Education advocacy Program volunteer Ma.  Geralyn Puzon and Vice president of the Agriculture Student Council Ariel Marcasote, Jr. will attend the 1^st Binhi  Youth Conference at the Eugenio Lopez Center in Antipolo City on November 14 – 17.
