Dr. Carlos Eduardo Legaspi, Jr, Director for External Affairs , attended the Commission on Higher Education Joint Institutional Development and Innovation Grants (IDIG) Roadshow and Lifelong Learners program Regional Info Sessions for School Presidents and school heads from the Negros Island Region, July 19 at Nature’s Village in Talisay. Legaspi represented the Fr. President. Discussions were presented regarding how Higher Education Institutions could avail the IDIG (CMO 33 s. 2016) and other grants from CHED. Meanwhile, the lifelong learners program was discussed and other HEI’s were encouraged to offer this program. Lifelong learners program is for students who graduated from high school before the academic year 2015-2016 and earlier and are now enrolled in college as first year (2016-2017). The program shall be in effect for the next two years after which, all those who have graduated junior High School shall have to pass senior high school.
