August 28, feast of St. Augustine, Fr. President will celebrate “Paghili-ugyon” in his home parish of St. Michael the Archangel, San Miguel, Iloilo. The program for the day starts with a Volleyball match for women between UNO-R and Central Philippine University at 9 am and a Basketball match between UNO-R and University of San Agustin at 10:30 am at the San Miguel Gym. Thanksgiving Mass will be at 4 pm at the parish Church and Dinner-for-a-cause with OKM (original Kinaray-a music) concert at 6 pm.
On August 30, a Thanksgiving Mass will be celebrated with the UNO-R community at the Oratory of St. Nicholas of Tolentino. Silver Anniversary program and fellowship follow at the President’s Hall.
Proceeds from the celebration will go to the on-going reconstruction project of the St. Michael the archangel parish in San Miguel, Iloilo.
