A UNO-RIan is a YSEALI!

More than 100 leaders from Non-Government Organizations in South East Asia convened and proved that it’s not too young to lead.  One of them is a UNO-Rian.  Ms. Richelle H. Verdeprado, RSW, MSW, was among the top South East Asian leaders who joined the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (Yseali) Generation: Go NGO! workshop from November 16 to 19 2016 in Mactan, Cebu, Philippines. “Yseali Generation: Go NGO!”  is a four-day workshop funded by the US Embassy in the Philippines in partnership with Cultural Vistas.  It brings together nonprofit leaders from all 10 Asean nations to learn how to fortify their organizations, craft their posts, widen their support and realize countless impact in the society.   The workshop focuses on four major areas as follows: the environment and natural resources management, economic development, civic engagement and education.  Ms. Richelle is currently the Program Head of the Social Work Department and the Director of the University Community  Development Office.  Further, Ms. Verdeprado is the founder of the Sowing legacy Movement. A non-profit organization which is composed of committed individuals that aim to bring positive in the society.  She is only one of the 18 top leaders of the Philippines who was qualified.
