The community of the University of Negros Occidental – Recoletos celebrated the feast of St. Ezekiel Moreno. The celebration started with Novena Masses from August 10 – August 18, 2017. The Feast day was celebrated with a Walk for healing at 6 am from the Capitol Lagoon to the university gym. It was attended by almost three thousands students, faculty and staff. It is a sacrificial walk for the healing of the sick. It was followed by a healing Mass led by Rev. Fr. Arnold Deletina, Parish Priest of the Queen of Peace Parish. He was accompanied by the Fr. President, Rev. Fr. Eduardo Celiz, OAR; Fr. Louie Gabinete, OAR , VP-Student Welfare ; and Rev. Fr. Persiuz Joseph Decena, OAR, VP-Religious Affairs and Chaplain. Anointing of the faithful followed the Mass.
