The Senior High School Sportsfest 2018 opened January 22, 2018. During the Opening ceremonies Rev. Father Principal, Fr. Abraham Latoza, OAR gave the opening remarks. Raising of the Colors by the advisers, Team leaders, the SAO president and Adviser was followed by the Oath of Sportsmanship led by Dina June Nieves. The lighting of the Olympic flames was done by Paul Klinbert Cordova. Rev. Fr. Louie Gabinete,OAR, UNO-R Sport Moderator and VP-Student Welfare, declared the SHS Sportsfest 2018 open. Cheerdance Competition opened as the second part of the program. The awarding of winners was done by Fr. Latoza and Mrs. Mary jane Concel, Student Affairs prefect. Yellow Jaguars was named the champion among the other best teams.

Richelle Verdeprado-Mangga, RSW, MSSW, PhD, JD, RBGS Master of Science in Social Work Program Head, was appointed by Bacolod City Mayor Albee Benitez as head
