The University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos signed a Memorandum of Agreement last May 21, 2018 at L’Fisher Hotel Bacolod with the Tsuneishi Foundation Inc. Ms. Catherine Sebastian and Ms. Sarah Jane Gayat of the Scholarships’ Office represented the university in the MOA signing. Tsuneishi Foundation Inc. is a non-stock and non-profit shipbuilding company that grants scholarships to engineering students all over the country. TFCI is owned by Mr. Hirohisa Kinoshita and managed by Ms. Daphne Abejar. The memorandum is about a scholarship grant for the Mechanical and Civil Engineering students of UNO-R, CSA, and TUP. Together with UNO-R, Colegio San Agustin (CSA) and Technological University of the Philippines (TUP) also signed a Memorandum of Agreement with Tsuneishi Foundation Inc.
