The Oratory of St. Nicholas of Tolentino celebrated the triduum of Christ’s passion and death and the Easter, April 18-21, 2019. The holy week opened with the Blessing and procession of the palms on April 14. On Holy Thursday, the oratory commemorated the evening Mass of the Lord’s Supper at 5 pm. Fray Cristituto Palomar, OAR was the main celebrant and performed the washing of the feet of the 12 apostles. Eucharistic adoration until midnight capped Holy Thursday. On Good Friday, the Celebration of the Lord’s Passion and veneration of the Holy Cross was held. Black Saturday capped with the Easter Vigil liturgy and Holy Eucharist led by Fray William Villaflor, OAR, Recoletos de Bacolod House Prior at 8:45 at the Oratory.
