DIOCESE CELEBRATES FEAST OF SAN SEBASTIAN

The Diocese of Bacolod celebrated the feast of its Patron Saint, San Sebastian.  The fiesta opened with a Thanksgiving Mass led by Bacolod Bishop Patricio Buzon, SDB, DD. In his homily, he called on all the members of the Diocese to embrace the “Spirituality of Stewardship”.  During the Mass, the two historical documents were promulgated. The Diocesan Pastoral program was read by Rev. Fr. Nitodel Soriano while the promulgation of the Guidelines for Schools to be “Catholic” was presented by Rev. Fr. Roy Gesulgon and was turned over to Rev. Fr. Hubert Javellana, Superintendent of Diocesan Schools.  A “Traslacion” of the Image of San Sebastian was held from Magsungay to the Cathedral in the afternoon.
