UNO-R High School students claim top spots in the final round of the NOPSSCEA Literary Musical Contest (Secondary level) held October 2 at Riverside College Gymnasium. Third year Audrey Mae Parreño sang her way to third place in the Vocal Solo Pop category while Naina Gasparillo of the Freshmen Class was named champion of the vocal solo classical. Diane Valery Chin in turn rose to the occasion and beat out all the rest when she bagged the win in English Declamation. Gasparillo and Chin will advance to the Provincial level of the competition.
