UNO-R Takes Extra Step in Nurturing Young Minds With VLN Global School

UNO-R and Van Lang University

The University of Negros Occidental – Recoletos Incorporated officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding with one of Vietnam’s prime educational institutions, Van Lang University, May 19, 2026.

Representatives from Van Lang University warmly welcomed the delegation from UNO-R.

Rev. Fr. Joel A. Alve, OAR, UNO-R’s University President highlighted that the partnership symbolizes a shared commitment to global education, academic excellence, and meaningful collaboration across borders.

He emphasized potential cooperation in: Research collaboration, Faculty exchange, student exchange and mobility, cultural exchange, and other future academic and institutional partnerships.

Dr. Lương Thị Phương Nhi, Van Lang University’s Vice President, expressed her gratitude to UNO-R for choosing VLN Global School. She took note of the two institutions shared goal in nurturing young minds for a brighter future.

The meeting concluded with both institutions optimism to pursue academic exchanges, and expanding social responsibilities by fostering excellence in global education.
