Fr. Labiao added that Pope Francis, through the Dicastery of the Promotion of Integral Human Development in collaboration with the Laudato Si Movement launched the Laudato Si Action Platform (LSAP). This is a 7-year journey where all people of goodwill are invited to journey together towards ecological conversion – the vision of Laudato Si. This season of Creation is the opportune time to initiate the process of rolling out in the Philippine Church.
A webinar: “Laudato Si @ Work, Stories of Caring for our Common Home,” for the educational institutions and organizations will be held on September 22, 202i from 2-4 pm. This online webinar aims to inspire the sector to actively engage in the roll-out and implementation of the LSAP. The program has two parts – a talk show and ways forward. During the talk show, Fr. John Christian Young of Saturnino Urios University; Sr. Ashwena Apao, SSC of Midsalip Suba’Anen Ministry and Mr. Renante Salimbao of DepEd, Dasmarinas will be the speakers while Fr. Rey Raluto of St. John Vianney Theological Seminary, Malaybalay Diocese and Carlo Garcia, Ph.D. of Miriam College will be the speakers for the second part.
