ALUMNUS MAKES IT TO TOSP – REGIONAL

UNO-R College of Business and Accountancy Alumnus, Johnny Jade D Veniegas was chosen as one of the Regional Awardees in the search for 58th Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines Western Visayas last September 15, 2019, at Casa Real, Iloilo City. Among the 18 Regional Finalists, Veniegas, a BSBA Marketing graduate from UNOR is one of the Top 6 Regional Awardees who will apply to represent the region in the nationals. During his college years,  Mr. Veniegas was a pro-active and committed member of the Student Catholic Action of the Philippines (SCAP), Society of Environmental Enthusiasts for Development (SEED) and University of Negros Occidental – Recoletos Supreme Student Government (UNORSSGO). He is a Negrosanon Young Leader, the co-founder of Bacolod Children Optimization for the Revitalization of Environment (Bacolod CORE) and the author of Pag-asa Creek Initiative.   Other TOSP –Region VI awardees from Negros Occidental are France Gerard Santamena of JBLCF, Stephine Paul Dungca of USLS, Djonald Andrade of CHMSC, Monrie John Javier of RCI and Sandro Silverio of WVU.
