The Little Theater is one of the historical landmarks in the university which made a significant institutional memory for all these years. Through the effort of the present administration, Little Theater underwent a major renovation in 2016 to attune it physically with the modern environment. On January 13, 2017, University President, Fr. Eduardo S. Celiz, Jr., OAR, Vice President for Administration, Fr. Enrico Peter P. Silab, OAR and Sheila M. Dela Cruz, Director of Libraries cut the ribbon to formally open the Little Theater. Vice President of Academics, Fr. Albert A. Pellazar, OAR blessed the Little Theater, assisted by Bro. Plata, OAR, in the presence of Fr. Abraham Latoza, OAR (VP for Religious Affairs and Basic Education Director, Principal of SHS), Fr. Ronel P. Gealon, OAR (Religious Education Director), Fr. Louie Gabinete, OAR (Vice President for Student Welfare), deans, office heads, faculty, staff, and students. The message of Fr. Celiz, OAR emphasized their true commitment to improving the university facilities and to make UNO-R great again. Ms. Sheila M. Dela Cruz was thankful to the administration for the invaluable continuing support to the library’s and IMC’s development plan and the continuing thrusts to support the university’s vision and mission.
