UNO-R and USAID Fight Against TB

        In partnership with the Department of Health, Provincial Health Office and USAID, University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos held the annual celebration of the World TB Day at the University Gym, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., March 24, 2009, with the theme “Pamahalaan at Mamamayan Laban sa TB. Kaya Mo, Kaya Ko, Laban Natin Ito.”

TESDA Prov’l Director speaks at Caregivers’ Graduation

Ms. Yolanda Porschwitz, Provincial Director of the Technical Education Skills Development Authority (TESDA), was the Keynote Speaker during the Graduation Ceremony of the 12th batch of graduates who finished the six-month training course for caregivers under the Technical Education Department of UNO-R. The graduation ceremony followed the Eucharistic Celebration at 10:00 AM, February 26, at the Oratory of St. Nicholas of Tolentino.

CAS holds a three-fold event

The College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) held a three-fold event last January 15, at the President’s Hall; the blessing of Mass Communication Digital Studio and Medical Technology Lecture Room; the launching of the College of Arts and Sciences Website; and the unraveling of the college bulletin, the clover and research journal.
