UNO-R holds HS graduation

Celene Faith Algara: Valedictorian

The University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos High School Department had its graduation last  March 24, 2011 at the UNO-R Gymnasium at 6 p.m.  A Thanksgiving Mass was offered at the University Oratory at 4:00 pm.

Celene Faith Algara  led batch 2011 as Class Valedictorian. Thea Marie Asesor is the Class Salutatorian. Diane Marie Chin, Geselle Ortega and Ninfa Corazon Grajo graduated with honors.

UNO-R High School Writers Top 2009 DSPC

Eight UNO-R High School students garnered a total of nine awards individually and the title of overall highest point (secondary level) in the Division Schools

VP-External & CoEd stage Hip Hop High Season 2

The Office of the Vice President for External Affairs and Public Relations, in cooperation with the College of Education, staged Hip Hop High Season 2 on November 28 at the University Gymnasium.

UNO-R joins 2 other Schools in CHED-Funded Research

The University joined two other institutions of higher learning, VMA Global College and LCC-Bacolod, in the presentation of the results of the CHED-funded research entitled “Establishing Baseline Data on Mangrove Development in Brgy. Punta Taytay: Basis for a Livelihood Program” held last December 5, 2008 at the VMA Global College in Sum-ag, Bacolod City.

UNO-R Writers Win Awards in Writing Contests

The UNO-R High School Department emerged Second (Over-All) in this year’s Division Schools Press Conference held November 3-4.

UNO-R ranked close to this year’s Champion St. Joseph’s School – La Salle and ahead USLS that ranked third.
