College of Education alumnus Christian Miran is named as one of the Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines (TOSP) – Region VI. Miran was also one of the three recipients of the JCI’s “The Outstanding students” (THOS) awards. He graduated cum laude and was one of the UNO-R Outstanding student leaders. Christian is the son of Mr. Rowel and Mrs. Annabelle Miran of Bata. He got his basic education from ETCS 1 and his secondary education from Bata National High School. He graduated 6th Honorable mention in High school. He was a consistent student leader at UNO-R: Class Mayor n First year; Executive Secretary of UNORSSGO in second year; Governor of the UNO-R College of Education in Third year and UNOR Supreme Student Government President in 4th year. Dean Nena Samillano and Mr. Remus Magbanua joined Miran in the awarding ceremony held at Social Hall of the Provincial Capitol.
