As part of its community outreach program, the College of Education proposes to forge a linkage with Purok Alunan, Brgy. Granada, a relocation site whose residents are primarily construction workers. The project proposal includes the conduct of tutorial classes for elementary and high school students. Additionally, the college hopes to assist the Fr. Gratian Murray Integrated School in the same Barangay by providing training to faculty members that would enhance classroom teaching and aid them in the performance of other tasks assigned to them. The team, composed of Dean Ma. Theresa H. Chavez, PhD; Mr. Remus S. Magbanua (BSEd Program Head); Mrs. Cecille Marie G. Pacis (BEEd Program Head); and Mrs. Imelda S. Matullano (College Secretary), did an ocular visit to the community last April 7, 2022. They also had a courtesy call with Granada Brgy. Captain Alfredo Talimodao. The group was assisted by Talimodao, himself, in their visit to Purok Alunan and Fr. Gratian Murray Integrated School. Profiling of beneficiaries will be conducted on April 22, 2022. (news from COEd)
