Two Education students brought honor in the University. Mr. Nikko Paolo R. Calumpiano, a 4th year BS Education-English was awarded “Excellent Research Presentation” during the Philippine Association for Teachers and Educators (PAFTE) Regional Student Congress last February 19-20, 2016 at Punta Villa Resort, Arevalo, Ilo-ilo City. His study is entitled “The Art of Dying: A Psychoanalytic Criticism on Selected Sylvia Plath Poems”. His coaches are Mr. Remus Magbanua and Dr. Ma. Theresa Chavez. Also sharing with the success is Ms. Kristine Joy M. Fernandez, a 4th year BS Education-Biological Science student who won 1st Runner up in the Province-wide Inter- School Teaching Demonstration Competition held last February 24, 2016 at Colegio San Agustin- Bacolod.
