Rev. Fr. Edcel Celiz, OAR went to Spain last September 2011 to attend a one-year program offered by the province for non-Spanish Recoleto graduates in the Philippines. He went with Rev. Fr. Francisco Antonio, OAR from the Colegio de Santo Tomas -Recoletos, San Carlos City. They stayed with the Province of San Nicolas of Tolentino. Madrid, Sta. Rita, Monteagodo and Las Rosas and Colegio de Romarida in Saragoza were their destinations. The program was “Religious and Cultural Exposure Program” intended for Religious to know the culture of the Spanish community, language and the religious life. The program is available to Religious who had not been trained in Spain and the two were the first group to avail the program. Rev. Fr. Celiz arrived in the country last August 14. On the other hand, he received an appointment last September 12 from Rev. Fr. Emeterio Buñao, OAR, university president, to be the High School principal. As the new high school principal, “I expect them to show their cooperation and skills in the classroom and relationship with the students without forgetting the high quality standard of UNO-R and PAASCU evaluation.”
