The Recoletos de Bacolod Graduate School (RBGS) held its 2014 General Assembly (Orientation Seminar) with the theme “RBGS MOVES towards ASEAN 2015 through University Research Mechanisms.” at the Presidents’ Hall, 05 July 2014. The orientation opened with inspiring remarks from Dr. Evangeline Caper, Program Chair of MS/MA and PhD Psychology and MA in Guidance and Counseling Program. Rev. Fr. Jorge Peligro,OAR gave his SODA or the State of the Department Address. He explained the “MOVES” in the theme. He said “M” stands for Management; “O” stands for organization; “V” for vision; “E” for environment; and “S” for system. These four letters embody the programs in RBGS. Meanwhile Dr. Elmer Haro, chair of the MSCS, MIS and MIT Programs, gave an orientation of the ASEAN 2015 and Dr. Evangeline Alo, Chair of the MPAG and PhD DvM programs, explained the letter of Intent and Dr. Ma. Teresa Lagradilla, Chair of the MAEd, EdD, and PhD EM programs discussed the RBGS Research Manual while Dr. Michele Saplada, Chair of the MBA & PhD BM programs shared the RBGS Programs and Targets. Mr. Alvin Mananquil, MIS Specialist and Ms. Shiela de la Cruz , Director of Libraries, gave orientations on student services. Fr.Peligro closed the program with his message. Mrs. Ma. Judy B. Legaspi was the Master of Ceremonies.
