University President, Fr. Sixto M. Bitangcol, OAR, celebrated his 39th birthday last September 5, 2008 with a Thanksgiving Mass at the chapel of the UNO – R Convent. This was attended by some members of his family who trooped all the way from Palo, Leyte to celebrate Fr. Sixto’s birthday with him, lay administrators, CMO staff, High School faculty and other office personnel. After the mass, a simple tribute was held at the President’s Hall. The High School faculty and staff, READS scholars, HRMO staff, and President’s Office staff offered some special entertainment number.
