Negros Occidental Governor Alfredo Maraňon is an alumnus of the university and
belongs to ONI high School Batch ’53. It is written that his ambition then was “to sail the seven seas”. He was a member of the HS Student Catholic Action and of the HS Dramatics guild. It is also written that “Fred’s ideal girl is a good housekeeper. He said that when he’ll have a wife he’ll love her very much so that she’ll always appear as young as when he first met her.”
Meanwhile, Congressman Evelio “Bing” Leonardia finished his Bachelor of Laws. He belongs to Law batch ’79. He served also as Supreme Student Affairs Organization (SSAO) President in 1977-78.
