The Public Relations class, under the advisory of Dr. Nieves H. Pepito, which is composed of Junior Mass Communication students of the University of Negros Occidental Recoletos held Seminar –Workshops last October 4, 10, and 11, 2014 at different venues. The class was divided into seven groups with three members each. A Seminar-Workshop on News Writing with Ma. Lourdes Villanueva-Anchor Woman of Radyo Veritas Global Bacolod, Family and Life Minister was held last October 4, 2014 at the Sacred Heart Compound Lizares Ave., Bacolod City. It was attended by the Scholars of Commission on Family and Life Diocese of Bacolod assisted by the Japan Overseas Mission Assistance Services (JOMAS). While two groups organized a Seminar- Workshop on Basic Journalism and another group did a Lecture on Basic Photography which were held at the UNO-R Masscomm Studio. These seminar-workshops were attended by freshmen Masscomm Students last October 11. Meanwhile, another group organized photo exhibit held at the UNO-R College of Arts and Sciences Student Council and another group also did a Sticker-on project. A group also organized a Seminar-Workshop on Multimedia Arts at the UNO-R College of Information Technology Building.
