The University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos through its Recoletos On-line Learning Extension (ROLEx) Project will be conducting a Strategic Management (STRAMA) Planning seminar-workshop aiming to develop an understanding on various strategical tools and a set of skills for the 21st century-blended learning challenges to be held at the UNO-R High School ACC on January 26-28 2018. ROLEx’s STRAMA seminar-workshop is open to the lay administrators and department heads coming from state colleges and private institutions at Western Visayas, to college teachers who are handling Income-Generating Agricultural Projects, and even to non-UNO-R staff . Registration is free of charge courtesy of CHED IDIG but with only limited slots are remaining early registration is encouraged to reserve a seat for interested participants. “After the seminar, participants are expected [also] to develop strategies for their organizations or schools by harnessing their internal strengths and overcoming their weaknesses through the opportunities available from external forces like Goverment’s support for K-12 transition programs, development of free public wi-fi and other technological infrastructures, social and economic forces,” ROLEx Project Head Acaba said. Guest trainer Aletho Z. M. Cruz will be handling the different sessions where topics include: macro-environmental analysis; industry, market and competitors analysis; company analysis; strategy formulation; strategic objectives and recommended strategies; and strategy evaluation, monitoring and control.
