Ramon Torres National High School -Main and Teofilo Gensoli National High School have their Senior High School Immersion at UNO-R. 53 RTNHS- SHS and 16 TGNHS-SHS joined the immersion program of UNO-R which started November 26 and would end on December 7, 2018. The students are assigned to the different colleges and departments. This is a way of giving them the “feel” of college life and the career path they will be choosing. Last November 26, an orientation was held at the President’s Hall given by the Office of External Affairs. Dr. Carlos Legaspi, Jr. gave the orientation. The participants were taught about the graduate attributes and the values of being a UNO-Rian and were also oriented on the general policies of the university. After, the orientation the students were turned over to their respective faculty coordinators: Dr. Nieves Pepito (CAS); Mrs. Fanella Villanueva (CAMHS); Dean Owen Martir (Eng’g); Mr. Aryan Torres (Information Technology); Dean Ma. Theresa H. Chavez, Ph.D. and Mr. Remus Magbanua (COEd); Mrs. Crestita Dayot and Mrs. Grace Lopena, CPA (CBA); Dean Jasmin Parreno, Ph.D., and Mrs. Gladys Estrellanes; A culminating activity on the 7th shall close their immersion at UNO-R.
