The School of Law launched the Master of Laws program in consortium with the San Sebastian College –Recoletos Graduate School of Law last February 5, 2020 at the President’s Hall of the university. Law School Dean, Atty. John Paolo Villasor explained the program and the rationale of taking up Master of Laws. He said that this is the first and the only program available in Negros Occidental. The program for each student will run for 2 years including summer. The prospect students of the program are the Law Professors and lawyers who want to pursue higher education in the field of Law. Fray Don Besana, OAR, University President, gave the inspirational message. He also inspired Law professors by offering the St. Augustine scholarship specific to the professors of the UNO-R School of Law. The mixers program was made possible through the efforts of Atty. Mary Jude Marvel, Associate Dean of the UNO-R School of Law.
