TWO BISHOPS GRACE 3rd UNO-R CATHOLIC FAITH FESTIVAL

The Religious Education Department will celebrate the 3^rd  UNO-R Catholic Faith Festival with the theme, “Enhancing UNO-R Catholic Culture in celebration of Padre Mauricio Ferrero Centennial and Year of the Eucharist and the Family”, Sept . 23 – 24 at the university campus.  This will be attended by around two thousand Religious Education and Christian Life Formation (CLF).  The activity aims to awaken, renew and strengthen the Catholic Faith of our young students.  Bishop Patricio Buzon, SDB, DD and Bishop Emeritus Most Rev. Vicente Navarra, DD will grace the occasion.

It will open with a Sending –off liturgy at 7:30 with the REED walk for the Family from the university Grandstand to the gym.   Opening Eucharistic celebration will be led by Bishop emeritus Vicente Navarra, D.D. with the re-launching of the Padre Mauricio Ferrero at 9:30.  Cosplay of Bible characters and saints will close the morning activities.  Church –building contest, Brain challenge, On-the-spot Poster making contest, essay writing contest will cap the 1^st-day activities.  On the second day,Eucharistic celebration with the sacrament of Confirmation will be administered by Most Rev. Patricio Buzon, SDB, DD, Bishop of Bacolod. Morning activities will be capped with para-liturgy at the covered court; Clean-up drive at the university grounds and trees profiling at the Greenheart hermitage.  The afternoon activities include registration and Praise and worship; Film showing; dance interpretation, cultural show and closing liturgy at the gymnasium.  (data from REED).
