A month-long block rosary among the university offices culminated at the Oratory of St. Nicolas de Tolentino with a concelebrated Mass presided by UNO-R Chaplain Rev. Fr. Abraham Latoza,OAR and homilist Rev. Fr. Cornelio Moral,OAR. Other concelebrating priests were Fr. Emeterio Buñao, OAR; Fr. Constantino Real, OAR; Fr. Edcel Celiz, OAR; Fr. Rouel Sia, OAR, and Fr. Louie Gabinete, OAR. Fr. Moral, in his homily, stressed that the act of veneration is the one that is proper for the Blessed Mother and that adoration be strictly before God. He explained the significance of the Rosary and the proper saying of the formal prayers. He also gave a short discussion of the reason for adding the mysteries of Light by Pope St. John Paul II. He said that the Mysteries of Light is a manifestation of the public life of Jesus. The culminating activity started with a Living Rosary participated by the administration and employees of the university and members of the Recoletos Educational Assistance for Deserving Students (READS). At the end of the rosary, Fr. Moral crowned the Blessed Mother with a crown of flowers. (Luina Mendiola, BSME 2; photo by Alfred Valencia)
