The University of Negros Occidental – Recoletos Medical – Dental Clinic under Rev. Fr. Joel Alve, OAR held a Medical forum on Tuberculosis in Children last June 15, 2007 at 1:30 P.M. at the UNO-R Instructional Media Center at the Ground floor of the St. Augustine Building (formerly Admin bldg).
Dr. Roberto Puerta, FPPS, FPAPP , University Physician, was the speaker in the forum.
Free vitamins, Mantoux tests, and screening for TB for children were administered for the first 50 registrants.
There were sixty participants composed of parents of the Grade School and parents from Brgy 40, the recipient of the University Community Development Program.
