The Bacolod City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office in cooperation with the university Safety and Security Department spearheaded an orientation on the conduct of an earthquake drill to the University Committee on Disaster Risk Management last August 10 at SA101. The university committee is chaired by Mr. Mars Olea and co-chaired by Mr. William Montano. Ms. Bernadette Montelibano; Mr. Mario Jocson; Mr. Raymund Castillo; Jean Paul Lucasan and August Clement Celas were the speakers during the said activity. The orientation seminar is a requirement before an institution could conduct earthquake drills.
