UNO-R got the championship trophy in Basketball men, silver in Beach Volleyball and Table tennis (women).  The UNO-R Rams bested all other universities in the country in Basketball as it dominated the 2016 UNIGAMES in Dumaguete.  The rams basketball team is composed of John Gil Aposaga; Jun King Arriola; Stefano Ayuco; Aljohn Catague;  Jafet Claridad;  Kim Bryan Dimaranan; Gerard Raymond Dipol; Steven Enema; Xylexis Herdon; Carl John Mejica; Leonard Michael Mustre; Bill Richard Prado; Ritcer Santillan;  Coleen Jude Testa; John Lorenz Toral and Patrick Dave Yulo with coach Rolando Aledron and Asst. Coach Crispin Nino Oquendo.

Jason Delmo-coached Beach volleybelles Erjane Magdato and Alexa Polidario got the silver medals in the Beach Volleyball while Catherine de la Cruz; Juvelyn de la Guizon; Rossana Marie Dogomeo; Sunny Lee Joyce Lico and Richel Donna Samson got the silver in Table Tennis (women).  The men Table Tennis team also saw action with Ryan Arguelles; John Marcel Concha; Radnie Emperado; Mark Elvis Lisas; Allan Jay Maranon; and Joel Montuya with Gy Caňonero and Sheryl Otaňes as coach and asst. coach respectively.

UNO-R Volleyball team (men) composed of  Michael Barbon; Arje Dionson; Lawrence Garcia; John Reno Gaspillo;  Jude Embang; Zhenlou Mondia; Cesar  Ordas, Jr.; Daniel Padua;  Carl Pardilla;  Julian Mar Perez; and Philip Tolimao also saw action during the UNIGames 2016.  The volleyball women also joined the games.  They are Shaira Jude Arisgar; Brailyn Barnuevo; Hannah Mae Bolistar; Ellen Khaye Jito; Erjane Magdato; Alexa Polidario; Myra Rebalista; Jennymar Senares; Jossa Sumande; Karen Tilanas and Ana Marie Jaen.
