The UNO-R School of Law joined The Silliman University College of Law Grand Law Debate on the resolution: “Resolved: That the minimum age of criminal responsibility not be lowered,” with UNO-R on the negative side last February 16, 7:00 p.m. at the Claire Isabel McGill Luce Auditorium. The UNO-R Law Debating team is composed of Tiffany Cabigon; Neil Andrew Yanson; Chester Nemrod Elias; Dawn Nell Arabelo; and Christian Leigh Razonable with faculty coaches Prosecutor Mercedes O. Saril; Atty. Mary Jude C. Marvel; Atty. Lorebette Grandea; and Atty. Manelee Mijares. Elias won the award for Best Debater and ranked close second in the category of Best Speaker.
