UNO-R joined this year’s Gawad Kalinga Bayanihan week spearheaded by the Secular Augustinian Recollect Fraternity (SARF). Feeding program , story telling ,health teaching, mangrove planting & clean up drive were activities managed by SARF in different places in Bacolod . The visited areas & the assigned heads are: Brgy.4 – Mr.Ferdinand Concepcion; Brgy. 28 – Mr.Lino Sumbillo & Mr.Mariano Antenor; Brgy.39 – Mr. Fritz Palma; Brgy.40 – Mrs. Dianne Concepcion; and Brgy. Alijis and Banago – Mr. Ferdinand & Dianne Concepcion; Libertad Market(Clean Up) – Dr.Carmenda Leonoras & Mangrove planting – Ms.Myrna Baynosa. The activities was also participated by the faculty, staff and students of Colleges of Education, Nursing and Allied Health Sciences, Criminal Justice Education, Fray Luis de Leon Library, and NSTP.
