The University of Negros Occidental- Recoletos welcomed the students of Dong-A University of South Korea as the university opened its TESOL (Teaching English for Speakers of Other Language) program. The welcome activity was held at University Fr. Cuenca Hall last January 21, 2016 – 9:30 AM. The activity started with an opening prayer led by Ms. Ivy Aboy, followed by the Philippine National Anthem. Rev. Fr. Eduardo S. Celiz, OAR, University President welcomed the students and instructors from Dong-A University. Mr. Caine Cho, JELS School Director, presented the students of their institution who will undergo the TESOL program. The twelve students are: Lee Eunbi; Jang Inyong; Kwon Jeong Ah; Oh Dason; Kim Yeonho; Lee Munyong; Kim Seonggon; Ku Gieun; Kim Hyeonseob; Joo Dkun; Park Mihee; and Hong Seunghyeon. Then, Mrs. Ma. Judy B. Legaspi, University TESOL Program Coordinator introduced the program lecturers. This program was facilitated by the University Language Center.
