The University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos Faculty, Employee and Labors Association conducted their annual General Assembly, January 29, 2016,President’s Hall. The activity started at 7:30 AM with the registration followed by the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass at the St. Nicholas of Tolentine Oratory. The assembly started with the usual opening formalities with the Invocation led by Mr. Warren C. Almarza, BOD and followed by the singing of the UNOFELA Hymn. Mrs. Eden F. Galve, UNOFELA Vice President, gave the welcome remarks and the rationale of the assembly. Engr. Noli E. Ortiz, UNOFELA President, called the assembly to order and determined the quorum. The previous minutes of the assembly was read by Mrs. Leila C. Magalona, UNOFELA Secretary. Engr. Ortiz and Ms. Catherine S. Sebastian, UNOFELA Treasurer presented the president’s and treasurer’s report respectively. Membership, Education and Welfare Committee delivered their committee updates. The assembly resumed by 1:30 pm with the healthcare orientation by Maxi Care which included the Utilization Report, Coverage and Limitation Updates and Scheme for Dependents. Open forum followed with PIO Gliceria T. Gilbuena and BOD Caryl Vina M. Jabasa acting as moderators. The assembly ended with the closing remarks of Mr. Fernando Flores, UNOFELA BOD. (Lourd John S.
